back to work!

heyyoooo!

so im back in la. its been an eventful 24 hours. first, let me back track a bit. 3 days ago it was in the 70's and i was enjoying a wonderful meal by my grandmother in her backyard. 2 days later i get up to go to the airport and there is ice on the trees!!!! whaaaaat?! the weather in texas gets crazier every year. so ya i go to the airport, have to stand outside while i wait to check my bag...i am shaking im so cold and exhausted because my family stayed up wayyyy to late the night before. haha something that happens alot when everybodys home! so i go in the airport and find a nice cozy seat. it really was out of the ordinary. big leather right in front of a flat screen. there was only one row of these, it was awesome! i sat down and started reading a book ive been working on for a while now! the historian, it was a gift sometime this summer. im hoping they will read this and let me know it was them so i can say thank youuuuu! im loving it. so yaaa our plane was and hour and a half late which was ok for me and my book but not ok for the band rehearsal i was supposed to be attending that evening!!! so i find a nice window seat(literally find... southwest airlines... oh man i hate having to pick a seat! haha but i love cheap tickets!) so ya i have a seat and am joined by a fellow musician that i chatted with just before boarding. hes studying music in arkansas and i cannot remember his name. a chronic problem i have. haha so yaaa we get de-iced and on our way and arrive in la... i usually dont check bags but i did for the holidays because i took home everything and was bringing it all back out so i wait... and wait... and remember why i never check bags. haha and then i head to the condo, unload my stuff and its time to go! a second more and ill be late! so i get in my car andddd it doesnt start. haha of course it doesnt start! lol so luckily i find a car to borrow from my second family out here and head to practice. band practice!!! our first plugged in rehearsal. booyuhhhh have a blast and then i drive home and go to sleep. i was tiredddd. so today, i try to jump start my car. it tries but it isnt working so i had to go buy a new battery and install that sucker. i also went grocery shopping while i was at it. went to costco and bought ALOT of food. so i ate a double portion tonight. haha so yaaaaa im back to work! just wanted to say hey and let you know that i am safe and sound and wrecking the town! haha not so much that last one...
