Two years ago today, a nervous but hopeful Jason Castro stepped out onto the American Idol stage to perform "Daydream" and captured our hearts forever. His warm vocals, tight pants, and dreadlocks got our attention right away. The humility and charm evident in the on-stage exchange with Ryan Seacrest sealed the deal for many of us.

Jason, thanks for sharing your music and your life with us. You have touched our hearts in ways that we would've never imagined and introduced us to women who would become our best friends. Your music gives us joy. Your smile and piercing blue eyes still make us melt into a puddle of goo. Your caring nature and amazing ability to connect to us personally has earned our loyality.
